Avoca Arts and Gardens is a small group of people committed to assisting local artists or craftsmen to further their interest in the arts and to promote our talented regional artists. The Avoca arts and Gardens have created a formidable resume of promoting and auspicing ‘art’ activities within Avoca and surrounding region. Some of their achievements include:
- Transforming the heritage listed Avoca Rail Station into an Arts Hub that includes Gallery 127. The gallery presents exhibitions of local and regional artists as well as solo exhibitions by single artists, including photographic and sculptural works. Gallery 127 is Open Friday to Monday.
- Installation of the first glow in the dark Silo Art. Work on the Avoca Silo began in March 2021 and was painted by artist Jimmi Buscombe. Upon its completion Avoca has become Australia's 47th painted silo art location.
- Annual Avoca Art Show. Held in the Avoca town Hall over one weekend. The event encourages visitors to town to take a deep dive into the world of art where you will find a diverse range of artworks on display by some very talented artists.
